That which you focus on is what is returned to you. If you focus on health, you’ll have health. If you focus on money, you’ll have money. Think about it – if you decide that you will have optimal health no matter what, you will create optimal health. If every thought that you have and every action that you engage in is geared toward achieving optimal health, how can you not achieve that goal? You will exercise better, make food choices that serve you and make sure you get your doctors visits in. All too often, a client begins a relationship with me by telling me they have been focused on achieving "x" for 3 months, 6 months, or a year and yet they feel as if they are not getting closer to their goal. Why? Because in reality, they are spending a disproportionate amount of time on everything except what they say their goal is! We don’t realize how quickly we lose track of time. We intend to get to it but the days and weeks slip by without our being cognizant. If you want to achieve a goal, focus and commit yourself to action that supports achieving the goal – no matter what. Life happens to all of us. Are you more committed to getting it done or the story about why you can’t get it done? If you already know what your goal is, the only things standing between where you are and where you want to be are commitment and follow through.
